WHO WE ARE

We are a group of advocates, educators, and administrators who are passionate about providing safety and support to those who have been impacted by domestic violence, and to ending domestic violence in our community.

We are also very fortunate to have over 90 dedicated volunteers, without whom we would not be able to run our many services and events.

JOIN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

We are always looking for talented, conscientious volunteers to join our Board of Directors.

Following the policy governance model, our board members dedicate their time, professional experience, leadership skills, and personal resources to guide the agency. We are especially looking for folks who have a passion for our mission of ending domestic violence and addressing the needs of those affected by domestic violence in Chittenden County, Vermont, have familiarity with non-profits, and enjoy fundraising.

If you are interested in exploring this opportunity, email steps@stepsVT.org with a resume or CV and statement of interest. People of color, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ individuals, and those who have experienced domestic violence are encouraged to apply.
